In today’s episode I demonstrate one of the simplest ways to meal prep a Cutting Program for those on a tight schedule. With summer just around the corner, this quick video tutorial will make it easier to clean up that diet and start shredding away that excess fat if paired with the proper strength training and cardio regiments.

By cutting carbs + calories and keeping the protein intake high, it’ll be much easier to maintain that hard earned muscle mass and shred away that excess fat.

Grocery List

  • 3lbs of sweet potatoes
  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 6 cups of greens (broccoli)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven at 400 degrees F
  2. Wash and slice sweet potatoes into 1″ thick discs
  3. Season both sides of chicken breasts with a low/no sodium seasoning (ie Mrs. Dash, Flavor God, etc)
  4. Place trays into middle rack in oven
  5. Bake for 30mins or until inside of chicken is 165 degrees F
  6. Let sit for a couple of mins and enjoy!

Meal Size

4-6 meals depending on your total daily calorie target and macros. While you are baking the sweet potatoes + chicken, start preparing the greens (steam, boil, etc).

Meal Prep Tips

  • Lay foil over your baking pans for easier cleanup
  • Invest in a food scale + quart size plastic bags to measure out and store your meals in the fridge
  • For sweeter and mushier sweet potatoes, bake for an additional 15-30mins
